We believe that providing character education to all of our children at home, in preschool, and in our communities can benefit our country. Mikids Moral Education curriculum teaches character to preschool children through a story and activity approach.

Mikids uses storytelling and narratives to teach moral values such as honesty, respect, kindness, empathy, compassion, taking turns, gratefulness and patience

We inculcate these values in our young children:

  • Self-development and self-care
  • The community and oneself
  • The nation and oneself
  • Family and oneself
  • The environment and oneself
THEMATIC-BASED PROGRAMME

Moral values are crucial aspects of one's character and should be instilled in children from a very young age.

Children role play and practice scenarios, discuss and choose right from wrong

Books

Up-to-date learning materials for students starting at pre-school level, together with appropriate teacher support. The curriculum teaches preschoolers moral values, acceptable conduct, and character through a combination of stories and activities.

Multimedia

The multimedia format uses a problem-based approach allowing for role play, dialogue and interaction between students. Modelling good behaviour and appropriate reactions to the behaviour of others. Engaging children in  discussion and reflection in the form of open-ended exploration aims at equipping children in forming their own views and opinions and helps children develop their moral character.

Learning Materials

All teachers teaching the Mikids programme undergo intensive training on multimedia teaching methodology conducted by Mikids.

This ensures that classroom teaching and learning activities are conducted in a fun-filled environment to reach the highest level of learning achievement.
